I am a qualified UK Tea Champion and have studied the The History and Etiquette of Afternoon Tea.

Using this knowledge I'd like to offer the two tea experiences below. These sessions can be run as group sessions for your clients, friends or business

Afternoon Tea

Join us for a 2 hour Afternoon Tea. Not only will you be served with a selection of teas, sandwiches and cakes but also a generous helping of history. You will learn how and why the traditional afternoon tea came about, who was invited and what to wear, the correct layout of cutlery and plates and what we should (and shouldn't be serving).

But don't worry, you'll be able to talk amongst yourselves and discuss what you've leant all whilst enjoying your Greenwich Tea Company Teas.

Tea Tasting

Do you know the correct temperature to brew green tea? Or the correct brewing time?

In this 2 hour session you will learn how to brew different teas correctly and at what temperature. You'll be given a tea tasting chart and tea tasting wheel and get to discuss what individual flavours you taste. I will also discuss the history of tea, when and where it was first discovered and the different processes of green and black teas, from picking to cup. You will definitely leave with a different way of tasting tea.
